BMW M3 Touring teased in motion

Remember when we reported on the alleged development of the BMW M3 Touring earlier this month? It was all rumors and conjecture back then, but now, the performance-laden wagon is officially confirmed and makes its first video appearance today.

Judging by the footage, the Touring sports a redesigned front bumper and a larger radiator grille compared to the standard five-door model. The rear end with its quad tailpipes is also new, but we have already seen it in an earlier teaser.

On the technological side of things, BMW reports that the car will ship with the three-liter inline-six turbo engine that all other high-end 3 and 4 Series vehicles will be getting as well, including the M4 GT3 racecar.

The M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe will debut next month, enter production later this fall and go on sale in early 2021. The M3 Touring, however, has only recently entered its testing stage, which means it likely won’t premiere until a couple years later.
