BMW has followed its next-gen M3 & M4 reveal with the announcement of M Performance accessories for both models. Included are a titanium exhaust system that weighs 5 kg (11 lbs) less, a lowering kit, power brakes, and much more.
The exterior gets three M Performance Motorsport stripes and carbon fiber details throughout. For the wheels, customers are invited to consider a staggered 19/20 or 20/21 inch combo, or alternatively go for 19-inch wheels shod in winter tires. Adjustable suspension springs can be used to drop the ride height by between 5 and 20 mm (0.2 – 0.8 inches). Doors can be outfitted with puddle lamps projecting the BMW M logo onto the ground. A special full-body cover with protective qualitied rounds off the list.
Inside, the steering wheel can be trimmed with carbon and either leather or Alcantara. Then there are assorted carbon fiber trim elements, a paddle shifter made out of the same material, and special mats.
The accessories will become available simultaneously with the market launch of the BMW M3 and M4 next March.
