Another classical BMW E30 M3 gets E36-swapped

Here is yet another restomod that takes a 1989 BMW M3 (E30) and lends it modern suspension parts, forged wheels and a new engine. Care for a closer look?

The car wore a Salmon Silver paintjob straight from the factory, but its latest owner had it finished in vivid yellow. He then proceeded to black out the windows and the radiator grille, smoke the lights all around, and install plastic air intakes into the front bumper. A massive rear wing was put on the trunk lid, and 17-inch Forgestar wheels wrapped in Hankook Ventus V12 EVO2 rubber filled out the arches.

The list of technical upgrades is much more extensive and includes a Racing Dynamics strut tower brace at the front end, H&R springs, Bilstein shock absorbers, Ireland Engineering anti-roll bars, and Treehouse Racing control arm bushings. The main highlight is the 3.2-liter six-cylinder engine taken from the more modern and powerful M36 M3. The specific performance numbers are not available, but judging by the exhaust manifold with a ceramic coating, the Fluidyne heat dissipater and lightweight flywheel, the car should be capable of much, much more than 300 hp (224 kW).
