Modding such classics as the E30-gen BMW M3 is a very responsible task that amateur tuners are usually discouraged against, but this example is a welcome exception to the rule.
The 1988 coupe flaunts a fresh paint coat in Lachssilber Metallic, new headlights and anti-fog lamps, an Evolution-spec front apron, and Startec brake lights. Gone are the OEM wheels, replaced by 17-inch multi-piece AC Schnitzer rims with a high-polished exterior. Bilstein shocks and Eibach springs are used in the suspension, and a CD player can be found inside.
The engine gets its fair share of improvements, too, landing with an ECU tune by Tuner Motorsports and a plethora of aftermarket components. No performance values have been made public, though.
The car found a new owner last week for nearly $53,000. Would you be willing to pay this kind of money for a restomod or not? Share your opinion!
