Do you think a lifted, off-road-focused version of the Jeep Wrangler would outrun a sporty BMW M3 coupe? What do you mean, ‘is there a catch’? Of course, there is a catch!
The North American off-roader would never stand a chance against the Bavarian E36-gen coupe if both were in their stock form. Well, neither is! This particular Wrangler draws its 420 horsepower (313 kilowatts) from a Chrysler LS Hemi V8 packing 6.4 liters of displacement.
But wait, it’s not a case of tuned vs. stock. The M3 also rocks an American engine, this time a GM-branded LS1 with an Edelbrock cylinder head assembly and the exact same horsepower rating as the Jeep.
Place your bets and hit Play, it’s going to get interesting!
