As popular as both cars are, we still suspect that the gorgeous Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG with its gullwing doors appeals to our readers more than the new BMW M3 does. Sidebar; we are here for a drag race.
CarWOW has pitted a range-topping SLS AMG Black Series against an M3 Competition. Both have plenty of power, with the Mercedes inching out a power advantage thanks to its 6.2-liter V8 churning out 631 PS (622 hp / 464 kW) and 635 Nm (468 lb-ft) of torque. The BMW M3 Competition lags a bit behind with 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW), but makes up for it with its superior torque of 650 Nm (479 lb-ft).
All in all, it looks like the victory is assured for the SLS AMG Black Series, but is this really the case? Be sure to watch the video and find out!
