Vorsteiner comes up with an alternate grille design for the BMW M3 & M4

U.S.-based tuning shop Vorsteiner has released a slew of aero components and a forged wheel set for the latest BMW M3 sedan and M4 coupe. As one would expect, most of the attention goes to a redesigned ‘coffin grille’.

Love it or hate it, many owners believe that the oversized kidneys of recent BMW cars could use at least some refinement. The tuner tries to address that with a more restrained aesthetic involving a horizontal bar dividing the grilles into four relatively small sections. The company believes the car takes on a more classical and upmarket appearance with the replacement grille on. The plastic version is available for $900, and you can also opt for a $1,500 carbon fiber one.

The rest of the body kit includes a carbon fiber front splitter ($2,400), side skirts, a rear diffuser and a trunk lid spoiler. The entire package costs $8,684, but you can also buy individual parts.

Rounding off the list is a new wheel set called the Vorsteiner VP-X, which is available in 20 and 21 inch diameters and two width variants. A vented hood is on the way to the market soon.
