Akrapovič has launched a new sports exhaust system for the newest G08 BMW M3 sedan and G82 M4 coupe. Aside from weighing less than its OEM counterpart, the upgrade system boosts engine power a little bit.
The entire pipework and muffler assembly is made of titanium and culminates in quad exhaust tips handmade from carbon fiber. The weight savings amount to 35%, and the engine enjoys additional 11 PS (11 hp / 8 kW) along with 14 Nm (10 lb-ft) of torque at higher RPM counts. An included valve control system enables fine-tuning the sound from rather quiet to very aggressive.
