The hottest BMW M3 of them all may still be in development, but at least the latest Nürburgring shots of it reveal the car proper.
The pre-production sedan sports an aggressive front fascia design with a rather massive front splitter and additional lower grille bars. You can also see the yellow daytime running lights that rumors have been going on about for months now.
The rear end is also completely exposed now, revealing a massive rear diffuser and four exhaust tips. The rear side windows still wear some wrap – perhaps to conceal bucket seats in the back row, if we had to guess.
Powering the most hardcore M3 is a 3.0-liter inline-six twin-turbo engine with so far undisclosed specs. Rumors claim it packs 546 metric horsepower (538 U.S. horsepower, or 402 kilowatts).
