After a pause, tuning company Vorsteiner is once again offering all BMW M3 (E46) owners an opportunity to make their car look like the exclusive and expensive CSL version. The kit comprises just four parts, but more might be coming later, CarBuzz reports.
The list starts with a $2,495 front bumper, which has a larger air intake and carbon-fiber splitters. A new trunk lid with an integrated ducktail spoiler will set you back another $2,395. A decorative rear bumper insert is available for $1,495.
The interior stays stock aside from a carbon trim for the center console with a metallic Vorsteiner badge on it. It costs $995.
The tuner’s current plan involves making just 103 examples of the kit, but the very fact that the company decided to resume production suggests that there is a demand for it. Therefore, the actual production quantity may be increased in the future.
For the record, BMW has only produced 1,383 BMW Е46 M3 CSL units worldwide. All cars were finished in either black or silver and weighed 110 kg (242.5 lbs) less than their stock counterparts – 1,385 kg (3,053 lbs) before liquids, to be exact.
