The new BMW M3 (G80) xDrive doesn’t even need four seconds to zap from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph), but G-Power reckoned it could still use more acceleration. The tuning kit turns the already impressive Bavarian machine into a downright dangerous one.
In case you needed a reminder, the stock, non-Competition M3 sends 480 PS (473 hp / 353 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque to the wheels. Once tuned, it delivers 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) and 840 Nm (620 lb-ft) of torque, and completes its sprint exercise in 3.4 seconds.
The tuning kit consists of an ECU remap, an upgraded exhaust system and a few other components. Once everything has been installed and calibrated, the saloon reaches 330 km/h (205 mph) in a straight line.
Aside from the kit, the G-Power catalog for the latest M3 mentions custom wheels in a variety of designs, a bronze vinyl wrap, black-out accents and yellow DRLs like those on the CSL. The interior makes do with the usual minimum of options – carbon trims for the steering wheel, a special edition badge for the console, and that’s about it.
