The car maker showed the updated family 4-Series and revealed details about the technical characteristics of the "loaded" coupe M4, whose world premiere will be held next spring in Geneva.
The main changes in updated 4 series concerned an interior and headlights. In an interior trim it's widely used chrome, which is shaded by a black glossy finish on the center console. The peak of a dashboard received a stylish double stitching. The interface of a multimedia complex also changed (for Professional system): the main menu is now presented in the form of large "tiles" that must make the work with the system more convenient.
At the front of M4 there is a couple of new LED headlights instead of a biksenon . Rear headlights and a bumper, and also front air intakes are slightly changed. Besides, in a color palette of an exterior there are new colors — Snapper Rocks Blue and Sunset Orange .
The car will go on sale with six various engines: three petrol (BMWs 420i, BMW 430i and BMW 440i) with a power from 184 to 326 h.p. and three versions of diesel motors (BMWs 420D, BMW 430D, BMW 435D XDRIVE) whoese top version will be able to produce up to 313 h.p. Cars with petrol engines have a fuel consumption of 7.9 - 5.5 l / 100 km diesel - 5.9 - 4.0 l / 100 km.
It is expected that in the nearest future BMW will declassify long-awaited version of new model — the version 2018 M4 CS.
