BMW is currently busy turning the M4 model into a special edition called the CSL Hommage. This necessitates rigorous track testing, and a recent video shows just that.
The CSL Hommage shown here wears a funny-looking camo wrap decorating with high-end BMW cars of the past, whether road-legal or pure track tools. There are also captions like “6MT FTW” (six-speed manual transmission for the win, a clear hint that you will be able to row your own gears), “Insanely epic” and “I like a donut”.
The front fascia doesn’t lack for massive air openings, there is a rear wing in the back, and four large exhaust pipes exit from under the rear bumper. Rumor has it the special edition will be producing 600 PS (592 hp / 368 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. Allegedly, it will be enough to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.5 seconds and top out at 320 km/h (199 mph).
It is also expected that MW will limit production to just 50 units.
