The fastest and most powerful version of the "charged" sedan is presented officially before the public debut. The BMW M5 in the new F90 body will be presented in September at the Frankfurt MotorShow.
A high-performance car received modified lights that
abut the extended grille and enlarged air intakes on the front bumper. In the
rear of the car, the bumper and the shape of the lanterns have changed, and the
reflectors, which are now vertical, are positioned closer to the exhaust.
In motion, the "charged" car is taken by a
bi-turbo "eight" with a 4.4-liter working capacity of 600 horsepower
and 750 Nm of torque, which works in conjunction with the modernized
eight-speed gearbox M Steptronic, which, depending on the mode chosen, redistributes
traction between the front and rear wheels. The driver will be able to choose
one of the three modes of the transmission: Efficient, Sport and Sport Plus.
The dynamic characteristics of the new BMW M5
outperformed its predecessor. Speed of 100 km / h car develops in 3.4
seconds, while the previous M5 achieved this result in 4.1 seconds. The speed
limit of the novelty is limited to electronics up to 250 km / h.
First will be released a limited version of the BMW M5
called First Edition in the amount of 400 units. Especially for it was
chosen a matte color Frozen Dark Red.
Receiving orders for the fastest BMW M5 in history
will start in September this year. The minimum cost of the
car will be 117,900 euros.
