The current (F10) generation of the BMW M5 does not have the kind of appearance that would scream, “Look at me, everyone!” However, it still packs some serious engine power and has formidable acceleration dynamics. And just so that those of you who would like to drive it with the gas pedal to the floor could do so in an even faster and safer fashion, German suspension manufacturer H&R now offers adjustable springs for the model.
Upon installing these, you can lower the car 40 to 55 millimeters (1.5 – 2.2 inches) on the front axle and 30 to 50 mm (1.2 – 2 inches) on the rear one. Feel free to choose the height that serves your needs best. Regardless of your choice, the car will assume a distinctly sportier stance and will be able to pass curves without leaning too much.
A full set would cost you €879 in Europe. Additionally available are Trak+ wheel spacers priced starting from €45/set.
