Very soon on the roads there will be an upgraded version of the four-door sports sedan BMW M5. Such a statement was made by the representative of the auto concern Andy Cook at the Frankfurt Motor Show. According to him, a package of improvements for the Competition Package is currently being developed, which will add to the appearance of the machine additional aggressiveness.
As Cook noted, the dynamics of the car will change. In addition, the BMW M5 will receive carbon-ceramic brakes already in the base configuration. On the other improvements, the representative of the Bavarian automaker chose to remain silent, maintaining intrigue. However, we can assume that their list will be quite extensive.
If you recall a similar upgrade package for the BMW M4, then it includes not only changes in appearance and interior, but also completely reflashed electronics, as well as new springs and shock absorbers. According to available information, the BMW M5 Competition Package will be released next year.
Note, under the hood of the standard BMW M5, a 4.4-liter engine is hidden, giving out 600 hp. It allows you to accelerate the sedan from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.4 seconds. Also, the model is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
