The Coches.net team arranged two different races to let the driver of the German saloon use AWD during the first race and switch to RWD for the second one.
On paper, the Challenger SRT Hellcat has 707 horsepower (527 kilowatts) and exerts 881 Newton-meters (650 pound-feet) of torque. Its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 links to a six-speed manual transmission.
In turn, the BMW M5 Competition has only 617 hp (460 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) at the crank, and relies on an eight-speed automatic gearbox to send it to all four wheels.
