The German car manufacturer BMW has announced the start of mass production of the latest-generation M5 sedan. The model becomes available in Europe in March 2018.
The vehicle gets a mighty 4.4L, V8 twin-turbo monster engine with 600 hp and 750 Nm torque. Driven by it, the new BMW M5 accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in mere 3.4 seconds. Manufacturer-set speed limit is 250 km/h (155 mph) for the regular version and 305 km/h (190 mph) for the sports version with the M Driver’s Package installed.
Compared to its predecessor, the new M5 features broader wheel arches, as well as new bumpers, side skirts and rear diffusor. The base version comes equipped with a navigation system, multimedia complex, projection HUD, gesture control, LED lights, and climate control.
