The BMW M division has shared a video teaser of its upcoming M5 CS saloon. The flagship had been spotted testing more than once before, but now, we can finally have a look at its smaller features and technical specs.
Depicted in the video are a part of the radiator grille with a bronze-hued bezel, M8-like yellow headlights, and a forged wheel with a red brake caliper partly concealed behind the spokes.
Compared to the M5 Competition, the CS gains a 10-hp boost to its 4.4-liter V8 and thus churns out 635 PS (626 hp / 467 kW). At around 1,920 kilograms (4,233 lbs), it also weighs 70 kg (154 lbs) less than its marginally less sporty counterpart. In all likelihood, it can also run the standard sprint in less than the usual 3.3 seconds.
Many of us expected the new M5 CS to launch in 2020, but it never did, and the new launch date remains to be announced.
