BMW has lifted the veil of mystery over the next-generation M5, coming to us in sedan and wagon flavors.
The official video shows multiple camo-clad cars as they run their pre-production tests. There is still very little known about the new generation. Most observers tend to agree that it will borrow its powertrain from the BMW XM lineup, but that’s about as far as the speculation goes.
It’s also official that the wagon-bodied M5 Touring, which had dropped out of production for a while, will be making a comeback in this generation.
