The BMW M6 Grand Coupé is a purebred sports car with a fit and muscular body straight from the factory. Lift the hood cover to reveal a V8 with 600 hp (447 kW) if you are not convinced. The car delivers in virtually all aspects, and you may always turn to the M Performance Parts catalogue whenever you encounter something you would like improved. However, there is one thing absent from the catalogue, and that is height-adjustable suspension. Luckily, German auto parts manufacturer H&R has a solution just for you.
The new coilovers can be used to lower the car 40mm…55mm (1.6”…2.2”) on the front axle and 30mm…50mm (1.2”…2”) on the rear axle. The result is a look that all street racers love, along with improved handling performance in sharp curves.
The set is only compatible with the regular, non-Competition M6. It will set you back €880. H&R additionally suggest buying Trak+ wheel spacers for 20mm…40mm (0.8”…1.6”) of extra wheel span. The spacers begin at €91 per axle.
