German suspension designer H&R has launched coilovers for the M6 Coupé, Gran Coupé and Convertible. Let us see what it brings.
H&R promises better cornering performance, less rolling and the same overall level of comfort as before the installation. The kit costs €880 and can also be installed on the M5, and having the standard BMW adaptive shocks is the only requirement.
For the F13 Coupé and Convertible, the ride height can be dropped by between 20 and 40 mm (0.8 – 1.6 inches) on the front axle and 20 – 35 mm (0.8 – 1.4 inches) on the rear axle. The Gran Coupé gets even better results with 40-55 mm at the front (1.6” – 2.15”) and 30-50 mm at the back (1.2 – 2.0”).
Also on offer are H&R Trak+ spacers that you can use to expand the wheel span by between 20 and 40 mm (0.8 – 1.6 inches). These start from €91 per axle.
