BMW M6 Coupe gets pushed to 770 PS

BMW cars offer a rare combination of driver-focused handling, raw engine power and interior refinement – try out an M6 Coupe and you will understand what it means. The F12 generation of the model is no longer new, but still in demand, and could stay around for a while longer thanks to G-Power.

The German tuner released its first tuning kit for the model around a year ago (see video). It included improved turbos for the stock 4.4-liter V8 TT, an intercooler, downpipes, a full-blown performance exhaust system and optimized ECU software. The output was advertised at 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque.

However, driving a car like that on a daily basis was problematic without other optional hardware, such as a track-grade particle filter, a more robust clutch and more. The starting price of €23,000 before options was not to everyone’s liking.

The M6 pictured in the gallery below is a more recent build from G-Power dialed down slightly to 770 PS (759 hp / 566 kW) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft). The upside is that it should cost less than the first kit described above, although you will still need to contact the tuner for any specifics. The car in the photos also has G-Power multi-spoke wheels installed with a combo finish, a carbon-fiber body kit and what appears to be a satin-black wrap around its entire body.
