BMW M8 Gran Coupe gets dialed to 900 PS in Germany

The tuner team over at G-Power has once again gotten around to tinkering with the BMW M8 Gran Coupe. The large saloon already has a body kit and custom wheels in store for it, and now, a high-end upgrade is coming for the engine as well.

Forged pistons and connecting rods, a pair of radiators, improved turbos and an ECU remap joined efforts to drive the stock 4.4-liter mill to 900 PS (888 hp / 662 kW). The torque went up to 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) and probably necessitated a transmission upgrade as well, but we weren’t able to find any info on that.

The numbers represent a substantial increase over the stock 625 PS (617 hp / 460 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. In addition to the power kit, owners are invited to order a carbon-fiber aero package comprising a vented hood, a fixed rear wing and a couple of smaller parts. New 21-inch forged rims are available for a wallet-friendly and efficient styling update.

The prices remain to be announced, but deliveries should begin in the near future.
