After presenting us with the images of its Neue Klasse concept saloon, BMW has droped the first official image of its SUV-bodied counterpart. The vehicle is shown from a side and wears camo, but some details still stand out.
For starters, it is safe to say that the Neue Klasse SUV looks like no other crossover made in Bavaria to date. It has an upright front fascia, a squat silhouette and massive rear fenders. The pillars are fairly wide there, the door handles are traditional, and there is a spoiler attached to the upper tailgate.
It seems that the SUV will be the second production car in the Neue Klasse lineup after the saloon (see video). Both are set to go on sale with cheaper traction batteries capable of more range, improved electric motors and the latest in multimedia technology.
