BMW expects to have sold over a million electrified vehicles by the end of next year, but the X3 is its only model on offer right now that ships with all the different powertrain types. The 5 Series and X1 are scheduled for electrification soon, but how soon remains open.
As far as this particular test vehicle is concerned, there is a non-zero possibility that it is a regular gas-powered SUV with its tailpipes concealed as a fashion statement.
