After showing us the 8-Series facelift, BMW continues its unveiling spree with a designer’s spin on the marque’s smallest coupe/SUV, the X2.
The X2 Edition GoldPlay boasts Galvanic Gold accents around the radiator grille, on the wheels, side mirrors, fenders, side sills and doors. Like the 8-Series announced earlier, it also comes in a new shade of green called San Remo. The interior makes use of golden-yellow stitching on the doors, central armrest, console and dashboard.
By default, the BMW X2 Edition GoldPlay comes equipped with the M Sport Package including M suspension, low ground clearance, a body kit, sport seats and some other sports-friendly accessories.
Customers can choose from five petrol and five diesel engines to power their special X2, including a part-electric xDrive25e spec rated at 220 PS (217 hp / 162 kW). There is also a sportier M35i variant with 306 PS (302 hp / 225 kW). The drive can be on the front axle or both.
Sales in Europe begin in March.
