These images show what by all indications looks like the BMW iX3 SUV finalized for production.
The car looks almost identical to its prototype revealed two years ago. It also comes very close to its gas-powered counterpart, the only differences being new bumpers, radiator grille, wheels, blue accents throughout the body, and no exhaust tips.
The RWD, single-motor version of the iX3 will be the first to hit the showrooms, packing 286 horsepower (213 kilowatts) and 400 Newton-meters (295 pound-feet) of torque. Its 74-kWh battery will give it more than 400 kilometers (250+ miles) of range. The dual-motor AWD version should follow later on.
We expect BMW to reveal its iX3 in the coming days or weeks. Production will take place at the BMW-Brilliance joint enterprise located in Shenyang, China.
