AC Schnitzer launches BMW X4 options

Since September 2018, AC Schnitzer has been working on a full-scale customization program for the BMW X4 (G02), and it looks like everything is finally ready for sale.

The Bavarian SUV gained several styling parts, including three spoilers (one in front and two in the back), a racecar-style rear wing, carbon tailpipes that you can order with a “chrome look” if you absolutely must for some inscrutable reason, and AC1 BiColor rims with an anthracite finish (available in 19” and 20”). You may also opt for a newer AC2 alloy set that measures 22” in diameter. Additionally, the tuner will lower the suspension of your X4 G02 by 20 mm (0.8”) in front and 25 mm (1”) in the back so that you no longer get that creepy feeling of it rolling to the side during a particularly sharp turn.

Interior options include aluminum pedal pads, an iDrive cover made out of the same metal, and comfortable footrests.

Among other things, AC Schnitzer offers a couple engine upgrades. Owners of the xDrive 30d may have it boosted from the stock 265 to 315 horsepower (198 -> 235 kW), while those who bought the more expensive xDrive M40d will benefit from a boost from the stock 326 to 380 hp (243 -> 283 kW). Oh, and going for the optional cat-back exhaust system might throw in another 10 horses or so.
