Tuner mcchip-dkr has been among the first companies worldwide to have released a chip tuning for the diesel-powered SUV BMW X5 (G05) M50d xDrive. Let us see just how much better the figures are with the upgrade installed.
The Stage 1 kit takes the engine from its stock 400 hp (298 kW) and 760 Nm (561 lbft) of torque to 470 hp (350 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lbft). If this is not enough, the Stage 2 kit brings along 515 hp (384 kW) and 865 Nm (638 lbft) of torque.
Neither of the two upgrades necessitates any hardware changes in the BMW X5 (G05) M50d xDrive, as both essentially boil down to a simple ECU remap.
Chances are mcchip-dkr will release more power kits like this in the near future, so stay tuned!
