AC Schnitzer launches upgrades for the BMW X5

AC Schnitzer has launched a range of aftermarket accessories for the X5. Proposed aesthetic changes include a new body kit, larger wheels, fender flares and a lowered stance.

X5 owners may choose from four different wheel models, available in the following sizes: 275/35 R22 (front) and 315/30 R22 (rear).

Additionally, the tuner is currently working on improving the performance of the X5 xDrive 30d and the X5 M50i. No official specs exist to date, but we can make an educated guess about the M50i, which comes equipped with the same twin-turbo V8 as the M850i. An upgrade for the latter model is already in stock, offering a boost from the standard 530 hp (395 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque to 620 hp (462 kW) and 840 Nm (620 lb-ft) of torque. This is on par with the unmodded M8 Competition. The kit costs €8,200 to buy and €513 to install.
