A first-generation BMW X5 tweaked by local tuning firm Sbarro is up for grabs in Switzerland with an asking price of 49,900 CHF. The listing claims only two such cars were made.
The car was assembled in 2002, customized and exhibited at that year’s Geneva Motor Show. Most of the change occurred in the front end department, which became nearly unrecognizable. The rear bumper and the exhaust system were also replaced.
With 140,700 km (87,427 miles) under its belt after two decades of use, the Sbarro XX5 comes powered by an eight-cylinder engine producing 286 PS (282 hp / 210 kW). The listing neglects to mention its current technical condition, but says it underwent full maintenance not long ago.
