AC Schnitzer sends off its custom BMW X6 to the desert

Let’s be frank: very few people nowadays will take their luxury crossover SUV to a bumpy cross-country ride. AC Schnitzer decided to provide us with an example and took its modded X6 M50i (G06) out to the desert for a photoshoot.

The elegant beast sports a white paintjob with grey accents and wears a redesigned front apron, side sill extensions, carbon-fiber mirror caps, a tailgate lip, and a roof spoiler. In turn, the cabin benefits from numerous carbon details and has a Crafted Clarity glass application next to the gear lever.

Power is still sourced from a regular twin-turbo V8 capable of 530 PS (523 hp / 390 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque.

The pics certainly look nice, but would you take your own X6 on an off-road trip?
