Talented engineers from the internationally known car tuning workshop Manhart have worked their magic on the top-of-the-line crossover BMW X6 M. The tuned-up car received the name Manhart MHX6 Dirt² Concept and was demonstrated to a wide audience at the Essen Motor Show in Germany.
According to Manhart, the vehicle is now ready to challenge the worst off-road conditions imaginable with its pimped-up version of the stock 4.4-liter V8 engine now capable of 900 horsepower with 1200 Nm torque. It can be deduced that the engine tuning performed by the workshop resulted in a tidy 325-hp performance boost.
The new Manhart MHX6 Dirt² Concept also features redesigned and readjusted suspension, new brakes, a stronger drivetrain, an additional protective body frame and a set of state-of-the-art 21-inch alloy wheels clad in BF Goodrich tires. Fans of extreme sports will appreciate extra LED lighting, a snorkel and a winch. The bottom of the car is reinforced by sheet steel for additional safety.
The tuning atelier plans to release a maximum of five Manhart MHX6 Dirt² Concept crossovers. Custom production means potential buyers would need to wait up to six months before they get their hands on their shiny new vehicle. Prices begin at €395,000.
