BMW introduced its large X7 SUV three and a half years ago, so the time was ripe for a mid-generational refresh. Here it comes!
The updated soft-roader boasts new two-tier headlights with the main beams at the bottom and DRLs at the top. You will also recognize the car by its new bumpers, radiator grille and wheels. Upsized 23-inch rims are available at a premium.
Inside, there is a new curved display powered by the iDrive 8 operating system, which combines the functions of infotainment and dashboard. Satellite navigation constitutes a part of standard equipment.
Engine-wise, customers can go for a diesel six-cylinder rated at 352 PS (347 hp / 259 kW), a gasoline one capable of 380 PS (375 hp / 279 kW), or a top spec with 530 PS (523 hp / 390 kW) at its disposal. All three versions are mild hybrids using the same eight-speed automatic transmission.
