BMW XM shows up in yet another teaser vid

Work on the all-new electrified BMW XM is in full swing, and the SUV has just starred in another short video full of drive and dynamics.

The full premiere will be held on Tuesday, September 27. The video once again emphasizes the backlit grille and the split headlights – we have seen it all before. XM and BMW badges are also given some screen time.

We will not know what the production car really looks like until the very reveal, but at least we already know everything about its drivetrain. Powering the standard XM SUV is a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 partnered up with an electric motor for a plug-in hybrid configuration capable of 653 PS (644 hp / 480 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. Our assumption is that the car will sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in no more than 3.5 seconds and have around 48 kilometers (30 miles) of driving range.

A rumored top spec allegedly called Black Label is expected to arrive later on. Sources say it will pack about as much power as the original concept car, which is 750 PS (740 hp / 552 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft). Then again, you will be better off waiting until next Tuesday to learn all the facts.
