Swiss tuning shop dÄHLer has taken BMW’s most powerful SUV ever – the part-electric XM Label Red – and made it even more badass with new wheels, suspension and engine boost.
In its factory guise, the heavyweight soft-roader comes equipped with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor jointly rated at 748 PS (738 hp / 550 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque. Once tuned, it gains an extra 100 PS (99 hp / 74 kW) and 100 Nm (74 lb-ft) of torque without losing Euro-6d compliance. The tuner has neglected to mention any dynamic figures, though.
Those who would like more than an engine power-up may opt for an active-valve exhaust system, 23-inch CDC2 forged wheels and a sports suspension upgrade. The default option is a spring set that drops the ride height by 25 mm (1 inch), but dÄHLer also stocks up on coilovers in case you need the opportunity for clearance adjustment.
