Something previously unthinkable has happened on the automotive market of Europe: BMW sold more electric cars in July this year than Tesla did.
Specifically, the Bavarian automaker found 14.869 buyers for its battery vehicles, demonstrating a 35% growth year-over-year. At the same time, Tesla plunged by 16% with only 14,561 examples sold.
Viewed as a whole, the EU electric vehicle market shrank by 6% last month.
