This might sound uncalled-for, but the earlier iterations of the BMW Z4 roadster in its homeland of Germany used to be dubbed ‘the fastest-going igloo in the world,’ an unflattering comparison of a sports car to a traditional Eskimo ice hut. But as years went by, BMW had been learning from its past mistakes, and ended up with the contemporary Z4 (G29) that actually looks elegant, rather than just expensive. Now, you can enhance its looks even further by opting for a set of H&R lowering springs.
Once installed, the upgrade brings the vehicle 35 mm / 1.4” closer to the ground (25mm / 1” only if you have the M40i). Aside from improving the appearance of the open-top sports car, this should reduce rolling and make cornering easier at high speeds.
The €332 set is compatible with all Z4 versions equipped with the standard adaptive suspension. If you also want to be able to fine-tune the positions of wheels in their respective arches, keep an eye out for H&R Trak+ wheel spacers coming out soon.
