Manhart Performance launched its first extensive performance upgrade for the BMW Z4 Roadster (G29) two years ago. Back then, it pushed the engine to 440 hp (328 kW). Now, another upgrade is coming up with even more power.
The so-called Manhart GR 500 kit is being developed based on the existing know-how gained while tuning the technically similar A90 Toyota Supra. The turbocharged straight-six engine is going to receive a boost from the standard 340 hp (254 kW) and 500 Nm (370 lb-ft) to 500 hp (373 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque. Aside from the ECU tuning, the program includes new turbochargers and an active-valve exhaust system culminating in 100mm (4”) quad tailpipes with carbon-fiber finish.
Exterior improvements will include a new front spoiler, carbon rear wing and rear diffuser, Manhart Concave One 20” wheels, and a KW Variant 3 suspension kit.
Finally, Manhart will customize the interior of the GR 500 in accordance with your wishes.
