BMW has finally revealed what the next-generation Z4 roadster looks like. The car will celebrate its premiere sometime later in 2018.
The photos essentially confirm the rumors that the new series looks exactly like its early concept version, which debuted a year ago. The car has an aggressive-looking aerodynamic body kit, large wheels, blue brake supports and rectangular muffler pipes.
The interior houses a new all-digital instrument panel, an enormous, touch-sensitive infotainment display, and a wireless charger for smartphones and tablets.
The engine palette will include a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 rated between 350 and 390 hp (260 – 290 kW), depending on the region of distribution. An entry-level 2.0L V4 will also be available.
The new BMW Z4 will utilize the chassis of the Japanese-made sport car Toyota Supra. The two companies have joined efforts in developing this chassis model over the course of several years.
