VIDEO: BMW shows the new Z4 roadster in motion

German car manufacturer BMW has released a promotional video dedicated to its recently introduced Z4 roadster. Hit “Play” to see it in motion and learn more about what the car looks like on the outside and inside.

The BMW Z4 premiered at the recently concluded Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. The car mostly followed in the footsteps (tire prints?) of the Concept Z4 Roadster and was the manufacturer’s first model to take advantage of a HUD.

The U.S. version will ship with a 3.0-liter inline engine rated at 387 hp (289 kW). It can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds.

Standard and available features include adaptive LED headlights, M Sport active differential, performance brakes and electronically-controlled shock absorbers. To top things off, the car features the Live Cockpit Professional system consisting of two ultra-HD displays.

We will learn more about the car in September.
