A mere month ago, German tuner dÄHLer Design & Technik GmbH released first teaser pics of its new wheel set for the BMW Z4 M40i (G29). You may buy the wheels starting today, but there are a few other things on offer that somehow went by unannounced. Let us see what those are.
Unexpectedly enough, dÄHLer simultaneously launched a power kit for the Z4, raising its performance from the standard 340 hp (250 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lbft) of torque to 408 hp (300 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lbft). Included are a new valve-based exhaust system, an ECU remap, and a front spoiler lip for added stability.
A few items will also arrive soon, including advanced sports suspension independently adjustable in terms of height and stiffness, and a windshield made of extremely durable ESG glass.
As for the wheels, you may now purchase a dÄHLer CDC1 21” set wrapped in 245/30 ZR21 (front) and 295/25 ZR21 (rear) tires. Simple lowering springs are available right now, and smaller 20” wheels will arrive in the near future.
