The Bavarian auto giant published on its page in
Twitter an image of a new model roadster, which will be presented in the near
future as part of the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2017 in California.
No official details about the car in the company are
not disclosed, but, according to the assumptions, the novelty is the successor
of the model BMW Z4, discontinued a year ago. They will build a two seat
roadster based on a platform developed jointly with the Toyota concern. It was
on this architecture that a sports coupe Toyota Supra of a new generation was
created. Most likely, the production of both models will be adjusted at the
Austrian Magna Steyr plant.
It is proposed, the engine range, until the nameless
novelty, will be presented by four- and six-cylinder engines, which will work
in tandem with the automatic transmission ZF. In the future, it is quite
possible the appearance of a hybrid auto modification.
