Lightweight Performance, a partner of suspension specialist Bilstein, has apparently grown tired of lowering the BMW M3 and M4 models and decided to try something new. The result is a low-riding Z4 Roadster that lends itself perfectly well to daily driving and racing alike.
The upgrade kit consists of EVO T1 coil-over springs and special shock absorbers designed to succeed the legendary Bilstein B16 set. You can use a notched aluminum wheel for quick adjustment of compression and rebound on a 10-level scale, no special tools required. As for the springs, they can be used to drop the ride height by between 10 and 35 mm (0.4” – 1.4”) on both axles with millimeter precision.
The Z4 has already passed tests of its new suspension both on the dyno stand and on the Nürburgring. Sales will start in September.
