This BMW Z4 Roadster is awash with carbon inside and out

The Latvian team of tuners from Protuning.lv has recently released a stylish-looking body kit for the first-gen BMW Z4, combining sporty character and elegance in one package.

The work began with the car stripped of its panels and the interior reworked first. Plastic trims were removed all around and exposed carbon-fiber trims were put in their place. Even the roll bar behind the seats received the same treatment, lending the convertible a rather exotic look.

Exterior modifications included new side mirror caps and a large rear spoiler with a ‘forged carbon’ look to it, not quite in line with the rest of the kit. The body was then resprayed (or perhaps wrapped) in a vivid orange color.

The engine bay was left alone. In the case of the E85-gen Z4 seen here, the engine could output anything within the range from 115 to 343 PS (113–338 hp; 85–252 kW).

Next up on the tuner’s schedule are a more complete widebody kit for the model and a matching set of wheels.
