These images are what Bollinger Motors wants you to recognize as its two upcoming electric cars, the B1 (SUV) and B2 (pickup truck). The budding U.S.-based automaker claims the exteriors are final and production-ready.
Both models were announced three years ago; watch the attached video if you need a reminder. As you can see, neither has changed very much from its concept version, aside from gaining a dual-tone black-and-white paint scheme, redesigned headlights and new faux grilles.
The duo shares the same EV platform and come with 380 millimeters (14.8 inches) of ground clearance by default, but adaptive suspension supports values in the 250–500 mm range (9.75–19.5 inches, respectively).
In its maxed-out form, the car packs dual electric engines summing up to 626 PS (617 hp / 460 kW) and 906 Nm (668 lb-ft) of torque. Getting from zero to 97 km/h (0-60 mph) takes four and a half seconds, and the top speed lies at 100 mph (160 km/h). Traction battery size is reported at 142 kWh.
Production won’t begin until late 2021.
