Bugatti to unveil a €8M hypercar series in late August

Luxury car marque Bugatti will be introducing a new limited series of hypercars at the upcoming Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance (California, USA) in late August 2019. Anonymous sources claim the batch draws inspiration from the legendary EB110 SS.

The model name remains unannounced, but rumors insist it has something to do with Romano Artioli, Bugatti ex-CEO who supervised the creation of the EB110 SS, a vintage supercar still fondly remembered by many. It is official that the batch will include 10 vehicles priced at €8,000,000 each.

The original Bugatti EB110 SS debuted at the Geneva International Motor Show 27 years ago. Compared to the regular EB110, the SS featured carbon/Kevlar bodywork, low weight, and a low-drag exhaust system. Powered by a quad-turbo V12 with 611 hp (456 kW) at the crank, it could dart from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds.
