The company will have to ask its parental Volkswagen Group for financial support. The Chiron may cost a fortune and still sell well, but small-scale production and R&D make the profit margin extremely slim nonetheless.
The rumored Bugatti EV will most likely be an extra-comfortable four-seater shaped like an SUV, a sedan or a coupe. The French automaker has sketched up such concepts before (depicted here is the Bugatti Galibier Concept). As for the prices, the company considers what it calls the ‘affordable’ range between €500,000 and €1,000,000.
