Bugatti launches a new sunglasses collection

At the SILMO show in Paris this weekend, Bugatti has unveiled another collection of sunglasses, named simply 'Collection Two'. The automaker’s second foray into the world of wearable optics marks its second collaboration with fashion designer Larry Sands and is inspired by the French brand’s rich history. The production takes place in Japan and involves precious materials.

Buyers will have as many as 16 styles to choose from – nearly twice as many as the last time, but you won’t find more than five styles in the official photos published so far (you can find them below). One of the more interesting designs features a pop-up external glass cover and Bugatti’s trademark horseshoe over the bridge of the nose. Two other designs feature flashy golden frames, while two others are more understated. All versions wear prominent Bugatti logos on the frames.

The automaker claims that the new collection combines smooth lines with bold contours and intricate details, which reflects the essence of the car company’s current design direction. Some of the materials used are 925-proof silver, 18-carate gold, black Macassar wood with pearlescent inlets, carbon fiber, titanium, and palladium.
